Litsea

Litsea cubeba is an evergreen tree or shrub that belongs to the laurel family. Its fruit produces litsea, an essential oil similar to that of lemon. As Litsea is native to East Asia, it has a long history of traditional use by the indigenous peoples of Taiwan and is widely used in Japan, Taiwan, southern China and Southeast Asia.
